Biostrip® is a human demineralized cortical bone allograft (DBM) shaped as a malleable, ductile strip. Biostrip® is an advanced demineralized human cortical bone matrix (DBM) that combines exact anatomical conformability with high regenerative bioactivity. Featuring a flexible and ductile texture, it can be easily bent, molded, or trimmed in the operating room to precisely adapt to any defect geometry.
Through a controlled demineralization process, the inorganic mineral component is removed, leaving behind a native collagen matrix rich in exposed Bone Morphogenetic Proteins (BMPs). This provides an osteoinductive biological trigger that signals mesenchymal stem cells to differentiate into bone-forming osteoblasts, while simultaneously acting as a structural osteoconductive scaffold.
